Mr. Wick has nearly thirty years’ experience in financial services and operations. Since 2001, he has been Chief Financial Officer of Vision Capital, a trans-Atlantic venture capital firm that invests in leading European companies in the communications, semiconductor, software and Internet sectors. At Vision Capital, Mr. Wick is responsible for Jersey, Channel Islands-based fund administration and manages the firm’s operations in Burlingame, CA and Geneva, Switzerland, including limited partner relations and reporting, fund cash flows, portfolio analysis, IT and HR. Prior to joining Vision Capital, Mr. Wick was founding Chief Financial Officer of ZoZa.com, an internet retailer funded by Softbank. Previously, he was a financial and operating consultant to QuickPower, an alternative energy company. Mr. Wick’s experience includes a twenty-year career with National City Corporation, a $90 billion financial services holding company, where he held various positions including Chief Financial Officer of National City Bank of Columbus, as well as operating roles in treasury services, public institutions, small business lending, international finance, operations, and business development, and was Vice President and European Representative for the bank’s London Office. Mr. Wick’s international business experience also includes extensive experience in Asia. He has an AB in Economics from Stanford University, an MBA from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and is a Certified Cash Manager.
